Soul Retrieval and Integration
An ancient, universal medicine practice – the shaman journeys beyond the bounds of time to track and retrieve the life force, gifts and powers that you gave away during a traumatic life event.
And it is restored to you, and you are restored to sacred balance – so that may nurture your whole soul and grow into your full becoming.
It is time, now, for each human person to come back home again and take their place as Kaitiaki, the guardians and caretakers of the Earth.

The Integration session is an essential element of support – for the return of the soul part is just the beginning of a process of profound changes in your life.

Illumination and Extraction
Are shamanic practices to facilitate your energy field to re-arrange.
The releasing of heavy energy to the transforming fire of the sun allows the return of those old stories of suffering that have become embedded in your light body and will bring you into direct relationship with all that is.
It is often necessary to have several sessions of Illuminations before embarking on a Soul Retrieval session

Writing from Experience -Karen HallWhen I first met Deborah I was immediately intrigued by the work she does and we very soon began working together. I was struck by how ‘light’ her sessions were. No need to delve deep into old psychological haunts, the process feeling very ‘simple’ in the sense that I did not feel the stress that can often accompany the need to talk about trauma. She was able to understand my concerns quickly and always knew exactly what was needed to begin the process of release from old patterns.

I began to notice changes in my life very quickly. Not just in terms of how I felt personally but also in how my physical world was shifting. Since I have known her my life has changed inconceivably. I have been able to release so much of my old ‘patterning’.

After one very memorable session working on a specific event from my childhood, I met a wonderful man, now live in a beautiful house, have an unexpected and adorable baby daughter and my work is getting better and better.

I realise that is impossible to specify exactly what it is that causes changes within ourselves, but I feel sure that my experiences with Deborah have had a significant impact on how I now reference the world and thus in how the world references me.

I cannot recommend her highly enough. Her compassion combined with her experience and understanding combine to make a practitioner who is invaluable in the work she is able to do for others. Trust her and she will take you on a journey of subtle self-discovery that will open and enrich your experience many fold.

The Nine Rites of the Munay-ki

The Munay Ki Rites plant within your light body the seeds of becoming who you really are – and connect you to all that is, in sacred relationship or ayni.
The Munay-ki are an adaptation of the ancient initiations of the medicine lineage of the Inka - they will bring you into your full presence – I AM – in love with life. it is said in the lore of Aoteoroa, that when the first human breathed the first breath, she cried out - “ TIHEI MAURI ORA!” – I AM THE LIFE FORCE.
The Rites can be passed on in small groups or individually. They are given freely, without a price tag – a gift of an amount of money that reflects the worth to the recipient of the time and energy of the shaman is should be given to maintain the ayni, or sacred reciprocity, of this exchange.
Group Initiations are given over 3 sessions, in West Auckland. The Rites can be given at any location in Aoteoroa, providing there is a large enough group gathered. Individual sessions can be arranged.

Regular Munay ki community meetings will be offered to assist with the growing of the seeds transmitted at the Initiation Ceremony.

The RITES

The Foundation Rites connect you to the power of your true self and to the power of Papatuanku, the Earth Mother.

1. The Healers’ Rite, Hampe Blessing or Voyager Rite is the seed that is planted in your hands and your medicine bundle or altar, to launch you on this journey of your becoming. At each stage of the Lineage Rites that will follow these seeds are given to your hand so that you can “grow corn with them” – manifest their power in your world.

2. The Bands of Power give you the ability to source directly from the Earth, the Waters, The Sun, the Dreamtime and the World of our Becoming.

3. The Seers’ or Kawak Rite connects your heart and your head with lines of light, so that you begin to see and re-create your world with the eyes of the awakened heart.

4. The Harmony Rite or Ayni Karpai plants the seeds in seven of the eyes of light (chakras) in your light body to bring you into sacred relationship with the great archetypes of our universe.

The Lineage Rites connect you to the lineages of medicine people, past, present and future – those human persons who knew how to “push the Kawsay” and bring healing and wholeness to all that is and all that will be.

5. The Day-keepers or Pampamesayok Rite is the seed that will connect you to the Divine Feminine within you and outside of you - to the plant medicine people, the midwives, the bonesetters and the Guardians and Kaitiaki of the powerful, sacred places of the Earth Mother. This Rite assists you to bring healing to the woundings experienced in this lifetime.

6. The Wisdomkeepers or Altomesayok Rite is the seed that will restore your relationship with the Heavens and Great Spirit – healing the Divine Masculine with you and conferring guardianship of the sacred high mountains. You will step outside time and bring healing to the wounds of former lifetimes.

7. The Earthkeepers or Kurak Akullek Rite is the seed that will connect you to a lineage outside of time -the guardians of our solar system. The Earthkeepers come under the protection of these Kaitiaki and can summon their power to bring balance and healing to any situation. You will become a steward of the Earth.

8. The Mosoq (New) or Starkeepers Rite is the seed that will awake your bodhisattva consciousness and bring your light body into alignment with the Fifth World of our becoming - “homo luminous”. You will become a steward of the Time to Come.

The Creator Rite
9. The Taitanchi or Creator Rite is the seed that reawakens your divine nature so that you may dream all life into its becoming. You will understand who you have become; steward of all of creation, from the tiniest grain of sand to the immensity of galaxies.

Teaching Events

Teachings include all levels - from Introductory sessions to Shamanic Practitioner training programmes.
Programmes are delivered through the Practical Mystics Centre for Contemporary Shamanism at residential retreats in and around Auckland. Other venues can be considered, providing a group of at least six people is gathered.
